Web Quests are a relatively new form of Internet use in classrooms.  Essentially, a company hires an educator to travel through a particular area: retrace Marco Polo's route, Mayan Ruins, Asia, etc.  This educator develops lesson plans, activities, for your classroom use.  Each day, s/he posts pictures, video and audio for your class to view.  If you have the Internet in your classroom, these are amazing opportunities.   Most of them charge for the service.
